As an Artist I notice the colour and texture of everyday things. They are my inspiration as I often use recycled materials for my work. Ever since I had to fight to help keep the GCSE Art Textiles course goin at school I have been in love with a mixed-media pallette of materials, finishes and colours.
This passion for Art and Design never wavered- and only grew stronger. I have since completed my Interior Textiles and Surface Design degree and find my myself in an ususual place. I know not what design work to look for or where my art fits into the world of design. All I know is that I love to create. Art and Design is a massive part of me and I am very happy to be able to share it with you!

Statement
My work is textured and colourful. I enjoy working with a varied palette of materials, colours and sizes, and in both 2D and 3D. Much of work is based around nature- in particular creepy crawlies in the English garden. However I have a great passion for shoes and have developed a number of 2D pieces based upon this theme. I take pleasure in working in repeat and screen-printing.
